Poisoned words
Lunacy
found it’s way
At 7:30 a.m.
The usual yawns were drowned
By the sound of hatred
Commuters and scholars
Fathers and daughters
How could their innocent lifes
Be in such a way slaughtered
Hundreds of flames smothered
How can poisoned words
Lead to so much hate
How can a disturbed mind
Cause so much pain
The victims’ eyes won’t see
Nor will their ears hear
How a whole world mourns for them
How they all wish that they were here
Bodies laid to rest
Nightmare meets the sleep
So many orphan kids
Whose parents will never meet
So many tears have been cried
They carve scars in the face
Clenched fist hits the wall
Till it paints it red
How can poisoned words
Lead to so much hate
How can a disturbed mind
Cause so much pain
The victims’ eyes won’t see
Nor will their ears hear
How a whole world mourns for them
How they all wish that they were here
